DREAM COME TRUE

Hey everyone! It has been a really long time since my last post and guess what? Its 2018 already! Before I  get started with my 2018 stuff, I just wanted to share with you guys another best thing that had happened in my life in 2017.

I guess 2017 is a dream come true year for me. i achieved many of my dreams in 2017.

– study in Japan

– making blog

– buy a camera

– meeting Jaejoong

– lots more other stuff

And one last thing that I’ve been waiting for so long for 10 years is meeting Jaejoong’s former group, TVXQ=DBSK=TOHOSHINKI.

TVXQ debuted in December 2003 with 5 members, U-know Yunho, Micky Yoochun, Xia Junsu, Hero Jaejoong and Max Changmin. But after 7 years, in 2010 they separated into two groups, JYJ (JAEJOONG, YOOCHUN, JUNSU) and TVXQ (CHANGMIN, YUNHO) because of several problems that had occured between SM Entertainment and the three members. Despite their break up, I do still support and love them the same as five. TVXQ was actually like the first ever KPOP group to BOOM in Japan. So if you ask any of the Japanese if they know TOHOSHINKI, they would probably said yes. Not just that, they even speaks Japanese better than me. hahaha. Of course, they’ve learnt it since their first Japanese album in 2005.

On 20th December 2017, I’ve achieved my dream on meeting TVXQ real life. The best part was it was held in TOKYO DOME and I’ve always been dreaming to see their concert at Tokyo Dome. Of course my dream was actually to see them perform as five but they are still TVXQ and I won’t miss my chances on meeting them.

About the tickets, I got to see really close with the stage but it was side stage seat. As usual the S seat tickets sold out really fast like a second. But I was still happy with my seat cause it was quite close with the stage and I could see them clearly when the stage moves toward my place.

However, despite the fun, the day of the concert was actually Jonghyn’s funeral day and I thought that the concert will be cancelled but it didn’t. The concert was really fun but it was really sad too. I could see them struggle a lot during the concert to do their best for their fans. The concert was actually their Japanese album ‘BEGIN AGAIN’ concert plus REBOOT. Begin Again was actually their theme to reappear again doing concert/work/etc after a long break because both of them were in army. What they did for the album was they did not actually produce everything as new songs but to compile old songs and they did re-record some of their 5 members songs again to produce as new. I was really heartbroken actually when they re-record the songs because for me all of their old songs were meant to be sang as 5 not 2. They even re-record my fav song “DOUSHITE…..”(I’m crying). The opening of the concert was the song ReBoot and also some of pop songs with more dance moves and it was really really good. But suddenly they sang ‘SURVIVOR’ which was the old songs (5 members) and I was really shocked by that. But still I enjoyed it. But by the time they started singing their ballad songs, things were okay at first cause I love all of their songs especially ballads but suddenly ‘Bolero’ came out and my tears just couldn’t hold it anymore. The second I heard it my tears were falling down all over my face. And in my head was like “oh nooo, this part is Jaejoong’s, this part is Junsu’s , this part is Yoochun’s”. But even as two, they did a very good job performing that song. After that they still did sing some of their old song but it was not the ballad songs and luckily they didn’t sing ‘Doushite’ or else I don’t even know how will I be able to handle that. The best part the concert was I actually being able to see their dance and Changmin’s high note real life. DAMN, ‘Catch Me’ dance was so lit like OMG! As their ending, they sang, of course ‘BEGIN’ song which was also the old songs that they re-recorded it as two and it was really really unbearable for me. But it was perfect tho. The starting of the song was “泣きたい時は泣けばいいからね、無理はしないで。” The meaning is like you can just cry if you want to cry kind of meaning. Hello!! I AM CRYING! It was so sad and Yoochun’s voice was inside of my head instead of Yunho’s cause it was originally Yoochun’s. The struggle for the fans are OMG!!! At the end, they gave a bit of their speech and Changmin said that we have to like appreciate people around us and and take care of them of our family and his last words before he cried and went backstage was “彼のこと忘れないでください” which means “Don’t forget about him (Jonghyun)” and all the fans were crying including me of course. I couldn’t help it okay, I mean who can if you’re a fan like me. I did follow SHINEE since their debut and of course I do feel the loss of Jonghyun. If it was someone from any new group died, I might not feel anything (Sorry). I did have so much fun during the concert although I was crying. I was really happy I could actually be in the red ocean and sing along during the certain part of the songs when the fans cheer together. It was so much fun and I am definitely going to their concert again. Why wouldn’t I.

So literally that was about the concert. It was such a dramatic concert but full of fun. About the merchandise, they actually opened like I don’t know 30-40 counters or more I guess. I bought the light stick which cost me 1000yen. I thought it was cheap but actually it was not cause you actually have to buy 2 of it and a 500yen connector if you want to make a T-shaped light so it actually cost 2500 yen the same as Jaejoong’s hahaha. And I also bought a candle holder because it was so so pretty with the diamond shaped as the holder and a crow on top with TOHOSHINKI written on it. I was actually confused if I should buy the t-shirt or not and I ended up buying it the next day(they still had concert the next day) during my 3rd period because I don’t have classes that time. Luckily Tokyo Dome isn’t that far from Shibaura and I was able to get into my 5th period class on time. I wore that shirt when I went to their BEGIN AGAIN CAFE (a guest cafe for a month).

10 Years and Finally…

Hi guys! It has been so long since my last post. I knowwww. I’ve been quite busy lately and when the days when I’m not busy, I was so busy doing something else. But this one, I can’t missed out posting it.

As you guys know me, my nickname or in every social media, my name is Zatyjaejoong. Cause I’m so obsessed with him for over the last 10years. Not just him okay, this include his group which is JYJ or TVXQ(which he was before till SM….) but I love him the most.

Jaejoong and also his group members are so famous in Japan. They are like the first Kpop group to be so well known in Japan years ago till now still could put up their name. If you guys ask Japanese, “do you guys know TOHOSHINKI, they’ll probably say YES”. (Tohoshinki is the Japanese name of TVXQ) Not just that but Jaejoong does has his own cafe, mall and also I think a salon in a building in SHIBUYA called KAVE just the opposite of Forever21. I did go to the cafe and I will do a review about it soon but I still haven’t tried JJ’s premium dessert so I’m waiting for that till I could post it in my blog.

Back to the main topic of this post.

After 10 years waiting, loving, supporting Kim Jaejoong, I have finally got to meet him in REAL LIFE!!!(I am screaming *excited*)

Last week, on 9&10th December 2017, he did a fan meeting here in Japan. Cause I got baito (part time job) on the 9th so I bought the ticket for the 10th. Buying Jaejong’s ticket ain’t easy. Its like battling for dUCk’s LE. I didn’t know how to buy the tickets actually. It says that in the website I could buy it form Lawson. So there is this Lawson website where I need to purchase the ticket there and pay it at lawson counter. The second it starts to sell, I quickly click on the button and all and guess what!!!….. I didn’t sign up and I’ve wasted 10minutes signing up in front of the Lawson and the ticket SOLD OUT the second I’ve finished signing up. Stress like seriously STRESSED OUT. I didn’t know that I could actually buy from the Loppi machine at Lawson cause it has that code number at the Lawson website for the ticket and I missed it. So I need to aim for the tickets that gonna be selling next week and guess what!! I was so tired that night that I woke up late on that day and totally forgot about the ticket. How unlucky I am😭. But don’t worry my battle ain’t over yet. I won’t give up ya know. I’m just so lucky that my senpai introduced to me this one app which I could buy the tickets from the reseller. It is called “Ticket Camp”. Thanks to my senpai I got mine there. I bought two, one for a friend I know from Instagram cause we share the same interest towards TVXQ. I love meeting another Cassiopeia/Big East😻. Her name is Yuni btw, and she has a youtube channel too!

IMG_4670

Tips: do buy the ticket last minute cause it will be cheaper.

On my big day, of course I chose Red as my outfit colour cause its TVXQ theme colour. I bought Jaejoong’s sweatshirt in white and has ‘BORN FREE ONE KISS’ written on it in red and matching it with my red fluff duck. I bought the sweatshirt at the KAVEMall in Shibuya or you can just buy it online at http://www.moldirkorea.com/ Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

It took me about an hour and a half to get there from my house cause it was held at Musashino no Mori General Sports Plaza. The train was totally packed with Jaejoong lovers, I don’t even need to google to go to that place. I arrived around 20 minutes before it started. the first thing to do of course to buy the Jaejoong Light Stick. I thought it was around 1000yen but it was 2500yen and most of the goodies had sold out even a blanket cost 9000yen sold out. Jaejoong’s fans are crazy just like me.

The event started at 4pm. So the mc started the show and when he called Jaejoong out, I was like literally can’t believe my eyes and was crying and shouting for him. Can you imagine it. For 10 years. I thought I won’t get the chance but it all came true😭😭😭. I know I didn’t see him like he was right directly a standing in front of me. My seat was quite far but, hello, I still could see him real life. Can you imagine how happy and excited I am. Japan rules is that you can’t record/take pictures with any celebrities during fan meeting or concert. They are really strict about piracy and stuff.

The event was like a game show. It started with Q&A SESSION for Jaejoong to answer. He was being so cute and funny even though he described himself as “kakkoii” but he was totally being “kawaii” instead😻. It was super funny I couldn’t stop laughing and smiling tho. Even my cheeks hurt. And then it was Jaejoong’s turn to ask his fan on how well his fans know about him. Whoever got the answers correct will get a Tumblr with his sign on it. Of course the people sitting in front will get the chance to answer the questions. And then it had some games for Jaejoong, tasting food game was fun tho. And also that card picking game and you have to make a story about the situation given using the item in the card that you had picked out kinda game, it was so damn funny. Especially the part Jaejoong making story about there is no toilet paper in the toilet. So he only had ‘God, hair drier and medicine’ card and he had to say “unci=faeces” 😹. I think I did record that part. The last part was his singing slot. It was so so so amazing. Hearing Jaejoong singing real life…. dream come true. We even did singing along part. And there is this one time Jaejoong disappear cause he said it was the last song, and everyone was calling his name ‘Jaejoong’ asking him to come out and he came out after few minutes and started singing another song. I was so blessed that day. I don’t want it to be over. i was crying when it has over. I mean like NOOO!!! DON’T GO! PLEASE! I DON’T WANT THIS TO END SO SOON! 😭 I will definitely go to his next event next year cause he said there will be next year! Thank you to some of you that had been supporting me in this 😭😭😭😘😘

HANABI IN NAGAOKA

It has been 2 months since my last post and I am very sorry for that. I did have my finals during the end of July and now is my SUMMER BREAK. Yeay HOLIDAY! I am currently back in Malaysia for a month (I almost missed my flight😰 that morning). It was actually a bit of a last minute decision. I did not plan to go back in Malaysia for this summer break actually but everyone is asking for me so I cant refuse. Haha. Plus it is super hot in Japan and I don’t want to stay sticky wet hot living there so I decided to go back home and here I am now 😉

Summer in Japan is filled with festivals. One of the early festival is the Tanabata festival which is held during early of July. People generally celebrate this day by writing wishes on small pieces of paper, and hanging them on a bamboo tree. I wrote mine too. Hihi.

Well, actually in this post I would like to talk a trip I had before going back to Malaysia. In summer, one of the famous festival in Japan would be the 花火大会(hanabitaikai = firework festival). The firework festival is held in most of the prefectures. Of course there is in Tokyo too.

However, I went to Nagaoka just to see the firework there. Why? Nagaoka actually has the best fireworks ever. The Nagaoka Fireworks are held on 2nd & 3rd of August along the banks of the Shinano River. Both nights feature almost two straight hours of fireworks including some of the largest shells in Japan such as the festival’s signature Phoenix Shell, which has come to be a symbol of recovery after the 2004 Niigata Earthquake. The show’s finale covers nearly two kilometers of the riverbank and is the widest span of fireworks in the world. It was a spectacular firework festival ever. Don’t want to miss that chance do ya?

To go to Nagaoka is either by Shinkansen/ bus/car. So we chose to go by car cause I went there with my senpai (they have license) in total of 8 people including me. The journey was about 4 hours I think. We travel at night around 9-10pm on 1st August and arrived at one of our friends house in Nagaoka around 12-1am I think (couldn’t remember clearly). Because our friends still had exams so we don’t want to disturb them that much so it would be much easier if we had our own car to travel easily.

FIRST DAY

The next morning, we didn’t want to rush out, so we went out for lunch at Nagaoka Institute of Technology itself. We heard that the カレーライス(curry rice) is nice there and we ordered a table full with curry rice only. To be honest, we don’t have that in Shibaura. Shibaura only have kebab truck on certain days and nan and also nugget cheese halal. Of course I would be so excited to eat curry rice at another place and the chicken was really nice. The only thing that isn’t enough was the amount of curry. For that amount rice, it will need more curry (makcik shokudo please hear me out on this).

IMG_2482.JPG

After our stomach had filled with curry rice, its time to head out to 寺泊(Teradomari) beach. Its so hard to find beach in Tokyo, so why not spend it in Nagaoka 😁. I wouldn’t say the beach is that pretty but it was quite nice. There were not many people there but we met a Japanese who can speak Indonesian (Kak Dita jumpa jodoh😂). Not to forget the sky was superb that day. It was so blue and the cloud in the picture was so nice. At the opposite of the beach there are some souvenirs store and also some seafood snack and not to forget some summer food, ice cream!

The last port of the day of course would be the HANABI!!! We parked our car really far from our viewing place that has been reserved by our Nagaoka friends(Thank you).

IMG_2565

To booked the best spot, you need to fight like a dUCk new LE launch style. And we did get the best spot. The fireworks burst in front of my eyes and I just can’t get enough of it. it was so big the video camera couldn’t fit in. I did record some videos but the best is to see by your own eyes. The best was the phoenix, the song and the fireworks was really OMG! I couldn’t describe it in words. I was really amazed. It was really spectacular. The firework performance started at 7.30 and ended for like 2 hours later. Some people just wait till the phoenix performance or any other of their fav firework performance and left but we stayed till the end of it. Well the ending wasn’t that much actually but sometimes the small fireworks did have cute shape like hello kitty or heart shape, Saturn and even smiley. Even for just a normal firework, it was really really huge.

p/s: I don’t have any good pictures of the hanabi cause I don’t own a real camera. just my phone. but you can just see it on youtube just type nagaoka hanabi phoenix if you want to watch the phoenix though.

After the firework, we didn’t head home directly, but instead we went to cocos just to play UNO and had their dessert and drink bar till the cafe closed at 2.30am. The strawberry au lait was yummy.

SECOND DAY

The second day, we decided to have a visit to meet the llamas 😁. So we went to meet alpaca. I don’t really know the differences between a llama and alpaca but I think alpaca is just another species of llama. Its free and you can feed em. There is also souvenir shop there which also sells big watermelon for 1000yen only. Btw, on our way to alpaca there was a really breathtaking view nearby. We stopped there just to take pictures before we reach to the alpaca farm. It kinda feel like cameron highland too except for the temperature (Cameron is much cooler I guess cause its the summer season in Japan).

IMG_3107

this is the view that we saw before we reach the alpaca farm

IMG_3139
this is alpaca

Of course after feeding the alpaca, we need to feed ourselves. I’m hungry😖. So we went to this Japan cuisine restaurant and had our green soba 😋. By the time we arrived there, there were so many people queuing there. NO WAY WE’RE GONNA QUEU IN THAT HOT WEATHER🙅. And so we just took our number and went to a souvenir shop nearby to buy some nagaoka sweets.

The Japanese sweets that we bought

We had quite a late lunch that day and we were so tired so we get back to our friends house and didn’t even realize we fall asleep and refused to join our senpai to a cafe. It was so nice to sleep after a tiring day 😪.

By the time I got up I think our friends had got back home and was cooking for tonight barbecue. YUMMY. So we went to out hanabi spot at a park just nearby the house and had our barbecue there. Well, we could still see the firework but not as big as we did the day before. As we are quite far from the actual place, luckily we have live radio streaming to hear the song and whats actually going on at the firework place so we got to know when was the phoenix turn (everyone was waiting for it). Well the fun didn’t last that long when suddenly we received a very shocking news. I don’t feel like talking about it but RIP. so after the hanabi we just went home and rest cause we’re going back to TOKYO the next day.

LAST DAY

Let skipped to LUNCH cause thats when our journey started. Well we had lunch at Shojoji, which sells Ten-Don.we had to queue for a while cause there were no table available for us. So here is the menu and some pictures of our lunch menu. Btw, the tempura is quite big and worth it. And we had fun playing games while eating 😜.

So before going back of course we don’t want to miss buying souvenirs!!! So we went to I think the Nagaoka JR station and there was a mall there which you can buy anything. I bought everything at the Yasuda Milk store. I’m not sure if its available in Kanto area or not but it does written (only in Niigata) so maybe not. And sadly, most of em got alcohol and also shortening which we are not sure can be eaten or not. So here some that I bought which I’m pretty sure its halal. btw, there is this delicious cheese cake which I really want but it could only stand for few days so I didn’t buy it cause I want to actually bring it back to Malaysia.

these are some of the Yasuda milk that I bought and there is the other one but I don’t have the picture of it

Finally we reached the rental car place at 8.30 and we’re late 30 mins so we had to pay and it was NOT CHEAP! So BE ON TIME! We were late because there was a bit of traffic and we almost got fined for not wearing seatbelt but we’re safe. Hihi. So here is my story of 3 days and 2 nights in Nagaoka for Hanabi! Hope you guys enjoyed even though there was nothing much. Wait for the next post!!

love,

Zatyjaejoong

Ramadhan In Perantauan 2017

I had to skip some of my stories (Golden Week) but I’ll share with you later 😉. It’s EID MUBARAK people. SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN. Hope you guys are having a great time with family and friends and also delicious ketupat rendang kuih muih and all sorts of raya food. My post today will be about my first Ramadhan in “perantauan” 💁. I’ll share my raya too, soon but lets get this one done first.

How was my Ramadhan in perantauan? Continue reading “Ramadhan In Perantauan 2017”

APPETIZER

Here would be some appetizer before the real game begins. NOPE this is not foodappetizer (SORRY) This is my 2 weeks life before I start my classes. It was a very very nice two weeks which I hope I could turn back time and stay in that two weeks😣

When we first arrived in Tokyo, we stayed at the seminar house in Hachioji. I loved the building, the design was so interesting (for me). We stayed for like 2-3 days differ by flights. Then we got separated and everyone had to go to their new living place. So I will be going to Gyoutoku (in Chiba, nearby Tokyo), that is where I live now. It’s an apartment. Living in the city, don’t expect to have got a cheap house. Well, basically Japan houses are small but for that price and in the city, you’ll get a smaller house. If you’re living somewhere in the countryside you might get a chance to live in a bungalow even cheaper than my house cost. Eventhough my house ain’t that big but it’s really convenient. All the convenient stores are nearby, lots of halal restaurant, we have sushi and also halal supermarket. All in walking distance and not to forget my train line is cheap. Continue reading “APPETIZER”
